Sunday, June 10 The technical program begins at 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon with the formal opening and Plenary Lecture I. At the close of that afternoon’s technical sessions, a complementary Dinner Reception offers us a chance to mingle and meet our friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 11 The morning’s technical program begins at 8:30 a.m. with Plenary Lecture II. The Instrument Exhibition begins at noon and continues throughout the afternoon and the 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mixer/Poster Session, where we will discuss science over drinks and light refreshments. Tuesday, June 12 The morning’s technical program begins at 8:30 a.m. with the Victor K. LaMer Award Lecture. The A.C.S. Division of Colloid and Surface Chemistry presents this award each year to a recent Ph.D. graduate who is judged to have completed the most outstanding thesis in colloid and surface chemistry in the U.S. or Canada. The Instrument Exhibition continues in parallel with the morning and afternoon technical sessions. The Pre-Banquet mixer begins at 6:00 p.m., before we spend the evening "Dining Among the Dinosaurs" at the Carnegie Museum next door to campus. The Museum’s exhibits will be open to us that evening by special arrangement. The banquet is complementary to registered Symposium participants. Extra banquet tickets may be purchased for companions (using the Registration Form). Wednesday, June 13 The final morning of the technical program begins at 8:30 a.m. with Plenary Lecture III. |
