Housing Accommodations

On-Campus Dormitory Housing

Moderately priced accommodations are provided in on-campus dormitories for your convenience. All on- campus housing is within a five minute walking distance of meeting sites. Accommodations include daily maid service, linens and towels. Telephones are provided in the rooms. Dormitory rooms will be available for Saturday night, June 9, through Wednesday night, June 13, 2001.

Participants should reserve on-campus housing when they register, using the Symposium Registration form.

On-Campus Housing Fees

Air Conditioned Suites
(A sleeping room that shares a bathroom and living area)
Single: $39.00 per night
Double: $30.00 per night per person

Non-Air Conditioned Traditional Residence Hall
(Fans will be provided for each room.)
Single: $28.00 per night
Double: $22.00 per night per person

The registration and housing desk will be open as follows:

Accommodations and Dining

On-campus housing will be available for Saturday night, June 9, through Wednesday night, June 13, 2001. Please see the Housing Registration webpage.

An optional meal service is available for a fee, starting with brunch at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, June 10, and concluding with lunch at 12:20 P.M. on Wednesday, June 13, 2001. Some meals are included in the registration fee. Please see the Meeting Registration webpage for full dining details.

On-campus facilities will be kept open for snacks and drinks in the evenings.

Hotel Options

In addition to on-campus housing, a block of rooms has been reserved for Symposium attendees at the Holiday Inn Select - University Center, located 0.8 miles from campus. This is approximately a 15 to 20 minute walking distance on level terrain from meeting sites (limited shuttle service available). To reserve a room, contact the Holiday Inn Select - University Center directly by telephone at 412-682-6200 and be sure to mention the "ACS Symposium" when making your reservation.

This block of rooms is available on a first come, first served basis and will only be held until May 10, 2001.
